Nurture Ministry seeks to comfort, nourish and assist the members of the Morningside Ministry to grow spiritually and emotionally.  We provide various programs to support the members of our church community in their spiritual journey as the children of God. 

Some of the programs planned for 2008 are:

Regional Fellowships:  New Jersey, Westchester regional fellowships will take place every 2 months, and they are attended mostly by families.  The Manhattan small group takes place every Wednesday, and are attended primarily by singles and married couples, living in Manhattan.

Grief Support:  As our members age, we are beginning to experience illness and death of our loved ones, primarily our parents.  To help our members go through this difficult time, we will be starting a Grief support workshop with a Pastoral Psychotherapist.  We will also be starting a workshop to help the members of the Morningside community better understand and support the members who have experienced loss.

Spring and Fall Retreats:  Our spring retreat will be held on Saturday March 29, 2008 until Sunday March 30th, 2008 at the Stony Point Retreat Center.  The Fall retreat is currently scheduled for Saturday, October 11th through Sunday, October 12th.  Our retreats are open to everyone, and there are financial assistance available to students and other who require it.  There is childcare and children's programs, so families are welcome.

Prayer Group:  Every friday, we get together at the Korean Methodist Church & Institute on 633 West 115th street in Manhattan to pray together.
